This project started out as a typical modelling test purely for fun. I just wanted to make a cool looking vehicle since it was ages I made one last time. It grew, morphed and changed and ideas started forming of what it could turn into. Eventually I felt pretty happy with the vehicle itself and I felt it needed to be presented in some fun way. By some reason I optimized it and baked everything so it is a game model in the video.
I started fiddling around with cameras, sequencer and Movie Render Queue in Unreal Engine 5 and figured this could be something.
With concepts in my head of what this vehicle was and why and its purpose, I started forming a loose story arc and came up with the environment and setting.
When I had a decent amount of clips I started adding them in DaVinci Resolve and a video started to take form.
If you´re making a video you need some form of audio, or ambience at least, otherwise it falls a bit flat. Luckily I have awesome friends and really talented ones at that, so I reached out to GURATRON 1988 and asked if he´d be interested in doing a collab on this project of mine, and he was.
Long story short here is my personal project "Colony 46: Pharos", with original music made by GURATRON 1988.
Learned a ton, a ton to learn! I hope you enjoy it!

I grabbed the free texture pack of dirty lenses from Aziel Arts on youtube, you should check out his page it has a lot of really great stuff.
I tweaked Megascans assets and used for the environment.
